Shinjo Bushi
Rank 1 The Way of The Unicorn When on Horseback may add his Horsemanship skill rank to all Weapon Skill Rolls. When on foot may add half (rounded up) to all Bugei and Initiative Rolls. Add Water Ring to all Initiative Rolls.
Shinjo Horsebowman
Path Hanari’s Technique While on horseback, all penalties you receive to your attack rolls made while using a bow are reduced by 5. You gain three Free Raises to make an additional attack while using a bow.
Shinjo Scout
Rank 1 The Ki-Rin’s Grace You may use Stealth while on horseback. While in the Full Defense Posture, may add Stealth rank to TNtbH.
Shinjo Bushi
Rank 2 Dance of the Blade In most fighting styles parrying is instinctive.The Unicorn, however, have mastered the ways of parrying and counterattacking without hesitation. When you are in the Full Defense Posture, any opponent who attacks you and misses may be attacked the following round with a number of Free Raises equal to your School Rank.
Rank 3 The Four Winds Strike The sweeping Unicorn style allows a Unicorn warrior to move with incredible speed. You may make an additional attack per round. Additionally, you add twice your Water Ring to the total of all Initiative rolls, replacing the benefit from Rank 1.
War Dog Master
Rank 1 Speed of the Ki-Rin War Dog Masters are trained to move as fast as the animals they command. In addition to being surprisingly speedy when they move across land, they arc deceptively quick in battle. You may move as if your Water Ring is 2 Ranks higher. Also, you gain a bonus in rolled dice equal to your War-Dog School Rank to your Initiative Rolls. Furthermore, when you are within 10’ of a Ki-Rin war dog, you gain a bonus of +5 to your TN To Be Hit, and all of your war dogs that arc within 10’ of you gain a bonus of +5 to their TN To Be Hit as well.

The youngest of three brothers. His two older brothers followed the path of their father in order to increase the Unicorn Clan’s monetary value by traveling outside of the Empire and bringing back items to be sold to the rest of the Empire.

It was Shinjo Luke’s grandfather who spend time raising him and training him in the art of the bow and the ways of the samurai. Because of this training Shinjo joined the Shinjo Bushi School and was able to participate in the Topaz Championship.
